In her conversation with Rachel, Sophie talks about her journey of learning in relation to research ethics, focusing on power relations, informed consent and empowerment of participants. She also talks about who benefits from the research and for how long after the research has finished.
Sophie Plagerson is a Visiting Associate Professor with the Centre for Social Development in Africa, University of Johannesburg, South Africa and an independent consultant on global social policy and social protection. She is an advisor for the MENASP-CP network.
